Time to canvass in Arlington! Because knocking on doors is the most effective way to get out the vote, WofA strongly urges everyone to volunteer for a shift(s) at the two busiest staging locations during the last three weekends and two days before the November 7th election. Canvassing will be held on the following dates: October 21 and 22; October 28 and 29; and November 4, 5, 6, and 7 While there are several canvass staging locations in Arlington, we suggest going to the two locations with the densest populations. We also ask that you RSVP with the organizer for that location so that the Campaign can prepare enough packets and materials for everyone. The locations and organizer to contact are: 1 Lexington Street South, Arlington, VA 22204 Organizer RSVP – Kevin Saucedo-Broach, phone 301-247-1193 and email 1521 23rd Road South, Arlington, VA 22202 Organizer RSVP – Ed O’Callaghan, phone 518-956-0745 and email Shift times are 9:00, 12:00, 3:00 and 6:00 for all the days except November 7th which will have shifts at 8:00, 11:00, 2:00, and 4:00. Each staging location will have volunteers to support you. Whether this is your first time canvassing and need training or you have canvassed before, the campaign volunteers will take good care of you. Thanks for helping to turn Virginia Blue.
