SUMMARY:WofA Busy Corners GOTV - Several Dates

Several dates available. Please click on RSVP link to view the different dates and places. \nCostumes are welcome but certainly not required – in fact\, we also need non-costumed volunteers who can more easily handout our early vote info flyers. \nQuestions? SUMMARY:31st St. Canvass VA-01 Shannon Taylor near Richmond 10/11
DESCRIPTION:Come canvass with us as we talk to voters in dense\, walkable turfs. \nWe’re helping out Shannon Taylor’s race in VA-01\, flipping the House Blue! \nBring Shannon’s message directly to voters! Door knocking is one of the most powerful tools in any campaign — a genuine\, face-to-face conversation can make all the difference. \nAs a canvasser\, you’ll go out in pairs or small groups or solo if you prefer to knock on doors in your assigned area\, share why you support Shannon\, listen to voters’ concerns\, and encourage them to get out and vote. No experience necessary — we’ll provide training\, talking points\, and all the materials you need. Just bring your enthusiasm and a comfortable pair of shoes! \nThursday evening Pre-Canvass Briefing: We encourage you to come to our pre-canvass briefing on Thursday\, October 8\, at 7PM. You will receive the briefing’s zoom information in your canvassing signup confirmation.

SUMMARY:WofA Sunday Bridge Brigades
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Sunday Bridge Brigades\, sharing important messages to vehicles below and on the bridge roadway. We provide the message\, you provide the energy. You may bring your own signs if you want\, but please make them G-rated. Come for the honks\, the joy and the community! They are held on the 21st N bridge\, close to MOM’s. You can use 2100 21st St N in your GPS. Also\, if you are on Veitch\, passing MOM’s on your right\, Veitch turns into 21st and the bridge is in the next block. There is parking on the bridge and in nearby neighborhoods. This a local Indivisible event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
