SUMMARY:Exercise Your Right to VOTE Arlington- James Hunter Dog Park to Courthouse
DESCRIPTION:Bring your energy (and your leashed pup!) for a group move from James Hunter Dog Park to Courthouse Plaza on Saturday\, October 17! Whether you run\, walk\, dance\, skip\, or stroll\, we’ll move together and arrive ready to vote early. Check-in at the start\, music along the way\, and water\, fruit\, granola bars\, and stickers waiting at the finish. Costumes encouraged! \nWhen: Saturday\, October 17\, 2026\, 9:00–10:30 a.m.\nStart: James Hunter Dog Park\, 1230 N Hartford St\, Arlington\, VA 22201.\nFinish: Courthouse Plaza (early voting site).\nWhat to bring: Comfortable shoes\, water bottle\, costume (optional)\, your ID for voting \nWe decide who represents us. We decide what comes next. \nFor more than a year\, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings\, billionaires\, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law. \nNow\, we are taking the next step\, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions\, No Kings: Vote Early\, is not purely a protest. Instead\, on October 17th\, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing our community together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard. \nBecause no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th\, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones\, no crowns\, no kings. \nNo Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.

SUMMARY:WofA Sunday Bridge Brigades
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Sunday Bridge Brigades\, sharing important messages to vehicles below and on the bridge roadway. We provide the message\, you provide the energy. You may bring your own signs if you want\, but please make them G-rated. Come for the honks\, the joy and the community! They are held on the 21st N bridge\, close to MOM’s. You can use 2100 21st St N in your GPS. Also\, if you are on Veitch\, passing MOM’s on your right\, Veitch turns into 21st and the bridge is in the next block. There is parking on the bridge and in nearby neighborhoods. This a local Indivisible event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
