STEP 4
Election Day is November 7. Note these resources:
- To register to vote or update your registration: http://www.elections.virginia.gov/voter-outreach/. The registration deadline is October 16.
- To vote “absentee in person” through November 4, see voting locations and times: https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation/PublicContactLookup, then click on your jurisdiction.
- To obtain an absentee ballot: https://www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/absentee-voting/. Request for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you must be received by October 31, and the ballot must be received by November 7.
- To find your precinct, candidates and links to candidate sites: https://www.elections.virginia.gov/voter-outreach/where-to-vote.html, then enter your home address.

El Día de las Elecciones es el martes 7 de noviembre. Ten presente la siguiente información (en inglés):
- Para registrarte para votar o para actualizar tu registro: http://www.elections.virginia.gov/voter-outreach/. La fecha límite para registrarte es el lunes 16 de octubre.
- Para “votar en ausencia en persona” hasta el sábado 4 de noviembre, aquí encontrarás los lugares y las horas de votación al hacer un click en tu jurisdicción: https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation/PublicContactLookup
- Para obtener una boleta en ausencia: https://www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/absentee-voting/. La solicitud de una boleta en ausencia para ser enviada por correo a la dirección de tu domicilio debe ser recibida el martes 31 de octubre. La boleta de votación debe ser recibida el martes 7 de noviembre.
