Elect Stacey Carroll to the Virginia House of Delegates HD-64!

Join Dining for Delegates and Beyond Arlington for an evening in support of Stacey Carroll’s campaign to flip Virginia’s House District 64 blue. HD-64 is the last Republican-held seat in Northern Virginia, is the fastest growing district in Northern Virginia, and is rapidly shifting in favor of Democrats– Harris lost this region by just 2 points in November and voters supported Tim Kaine in 2024, making this one of the easiest pickup seats for Democrats to retain and expand their majority!

Poll Observer Info Session

Poll observers are the eyes and ears of the Democratic Party of Virginia Coordinated Campaign’s Voter Protection team on the ground at polling places across the state on Election Day. They identify potential issues at the polls and work with us and election officials to protect voters. We need to recruit poll observers across the state. You can be an inside poll observer if you are a registered Virginia voter, and an outside poll observer with no restrictions. Thinking about volunteering, but want to know more? Learn the roles of the inside and outside poll observers; how they interact with the poll greeter, boiler room, and hotline; how they get assigned to a particular precinct; whether they can do a half-day shift, and more.

National Women’s Political Caucus calling for VA HoD Candidates

Wednesdays, 6:00pm – 8:00 pm (thru October 30th)

National Women’s Political Caucus in conjunction with the Bay Area Coalition, is hosting phone banks for NWPC-VA endorsed candidates every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm. We have added a dialer that allows us to leave messages, so calling is much more efficient without people feeling like they are on a runaway horse. Since our dialer leaves messages, a single person can effectively use it and make calls; it takes about 25 seconds to get a connection, even if you are the only caller. Our Mobilize link is HERE

PFLAG Connects Monthly Meetings

Our current community offerings gather people of Latino, Black/African American, AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) backgrounds, as well as military families, families with gender-diverse loved ones, dads, and grandparents!

A CALL TO ACTION ON CAMPAIGN FINANCE:

Do your elected officials represent democracy, or the donors who fund them?
Join us in calling on the elected local officials in your jurisdiction to put people before corporations and wealthy donors. Across Virginia, activists are urging local councils and boards to pass resolutions supporting stronger campaign finance laws. Right now, Virginia has some of the weakest campaign finance rules in the country—but communities are speaking up. Leesburg and Blacksburg have already passed resolutions unanimously. Your community could be next—if you raise your voice. Click below if you live in these jurisdictions.
