We are coming down to the wire and many are still unsure what the Referendum means and how they should vote. We need to reach these people now! Please choose a visibility or phone bank shift today. If the dates/times don’t work for you, see additional options below.
Vote YES – Phone Banks Galore! Celebrity Phone Banks
Every night someone New! Each Zoom phone bank starts with a special guest host to get us inspired and energized to make calls a half hour later. Training for newcomers and ongoing support will be available during every phone bank. If you’ve never used a dialer before, consider watching this video ahead of time. Call Black Voters in Virginia – Center for Common Ground
We are calling black voters in Virginia and encouraging them to vote in the upcoming special election and providing resources that make it easier to check where they are registered and find the voting information they need. Sign Up HERE
WofA Visibility Corners & Metros
WofA has been actively promoting Vote YES through Visibility Actions near early voting satellite locations and Metro stations across Arlington. These efforts are proving highly impactful – reaching voters that other forms of outreach often miss. Grab some friends and make it a party! Indivisible is launching Neighbor2Neighbor (N2N)
Indivisible’s unique door knocking program, to get us across the finish line!
- N2N provides you with a list of 10 like-minded voters in your community. All you need to do is remind them to Vote Yes before April 21st!
- You will receive a script as well as a one page flyer. Print out the flyer and talk with your list of neighbors based on your schedule.
- N2N does not compete or conflict with existing canvassing efforts. You can volunteer with other organizations and then meet with one or two of the neighbors on your N2N list on your way home!

WofA for Action Auction
Thank you for the generous contributions to our spring online auction, which will be May 9-16th. We are raising money for our good trouble efforts! Sample contributions include a pontoon cruise of Lake Barcroft with your friends and beverages of choice, homebaked goods delivered to your doorstep, a custom pet portrait, gift card to Immigrant Food, gardening assistance, math tutoring, and a limited edition Lego globe. Even a September week on Cape Cod!

The New Virginia Majority (NVM) Solidarity Committee connects Virginia residents with citizenship or documentation privileges who want to support immigrant communities with meaningful action opportunities. Mutual Aid
An important part of caring for our immigrant neighbors is ensuring they have the resources necessary to survive. We have several mutual aid requests that have come through trusted partners.
- Miss Grace’s husband was detained in February, leaving her to provide and care for their two children. To help Grace, please donate here.
- Pablo is being deported back to his home country. To help provide funds to re-unite him with his daughter and rebuild his life, please donate here.
- Mr. N is a longtime Fairfax resident who is now unable to find stable employment and is struggling to pay bills. To assist Mr. N, please donate here.

- We encourage you to follow the steps here to let Home Depot know to keep ICE raids away from their stores.
