June 15th Deadline!
Deadline to purchase Women’s Summit Early Bird Tickets
The Women’s Summit — one of Virginia’s most energized grassroots gatherings — is back, and this year it’s bigger than ever. For ten years, this has been the place where activists Power Up, Fight Back, and Show Up, and this August 21–23 at the Hilton McLean in Tysons Corner, we’re celebrating a decade of victories while getting fired up for the midterms. Friday night kicks off with voter protection workshops and a Meet the Candidates event, Saturday brings MasterClasses on winning strategy, and Sunday closes with the legendary Badass Brunch. This isn’t a conference — it’s a festival of activism, community, and collective action for people who believe democracy is worth fighting for. Early bird tickets are $169 through June 15, and you can save an extra 10% with code BIG TEN. Register at networknova.org/ws2026 — we need this more than ever, and we need you there. For a decade, the Women’s Summit has been the place where grassroots activists from Virginia and across the county have Powered Up, Fought Back, and Showed Up — and we’ve got the victories to prove it! WofA’s Bystander Guide & Zine
WofA has produced an excellent video and zine that act as a bystander’s guide for our community allies here in northern Virginia. This video is NOT intended to be legal advice.

Mutual Aid
An important part of caring for our immigrant neighbors is ensuring they have the resources necessary to survive. We have several mutual aid requests that have come through trusted partners.
- Great News! Many of you had helped O and her family, she has started a new job and started receiving TANF benefits. With everyone’s help, we were able to clear all of their back rent and helped them avoid eviction. Her Go Fund Me is still up here, if you would like to donate to the family so they have a little cushion, but they should be able to cover rent moving forward.
- Miss Grace’s husband was detained in February, leaving her to provide and care for their two children. To help Grace, please donate here.
- Mr. N is a longtime Fairfax resident who is now unable to find stable employment and is struggling to pay bills. To assist Mr. N, please donate here.
- Donate to commissary funds to support detainees and their families through La ColectiVA here.

Vote with your Wallet
This is a new initiative by the boycott brainstormers. We’d like to make it into a one-stop-shop for corporate accountability practices, ethical investment opportunities, WofA’s Shop Local initiative and other actions and resources related to choices you make with your hard-earned spending power. It may not be ready for primetime yet, but you can explore it here and we especially recommend sending an email or letter or pressuring Home Depot on social media as their shareholders meeting is May 21st.
