The Problem

Immigration arrests are being made by people with no visible authority. Without uniforms, badges, names, or insignia, members of the public cannot confirm whether they are legitimate government officials. Perpetrators are often wearing tactical gear or carrying firearms.<

The Solution

People enforcing immigration law should be required to display their agency and name or badge number — just like police and other local law enforcement agencies. People performing legitimate public functions should be forbidden from covering their faces with masks or balaclavas to obscure their identity.

The Request

Demand honesty and transparency in law enforcement.
