Delegate Josh Cole

Although Del. Cole has had some close races in the past, he won in 2023 by 6 points. Kamala Harris won the district by almost 9 points, and both Tim Kaine and Rep. Eugene Vindman did well in 2024 in the district  – this is a must hold seat. A longtime “adoptee” of WofA, Del. Cole was raised in Fredericksburg and serves as a state Delegate representing the Fredericksburg area in the General Assembly. He is a local pastor, husband and father of two. Josh’s faith and commitment to service guided him as a delegate in bringing back historic investments in our schools, public safety, transportation infrastructure and better access to quality affordable healthcare. In 2019, Josh Cole became the youngest person and the first Black person elected from the Fredericksburg region to the General Assembly.
