As we prepare for a few months of action, this program on NPR was particularly helpful for preparing to engage with people who may not feel the same way we do about politics….this is Civil Rights Activist Loretta Ross addressing how to “call people in” (instead of calling people out) so they see the possibility of a different view. You will love the positive attitude!

Early Voting and Vino with WofA!
Our monthly membership meeting is all action! We will meet at 2100 Clarendon Blvd. to cast our early vote for the Democratic primary election on June 18, 2024. Five candidates are vying for one vacant at-large seat on the Arlington County Board. The primary will determine who will represent the Democratic Party on the November ballot. We will then walk to Courthaus Social for a happy hour. Please join us and bring a friend! Arlington County Sample Ballot and Ranked Choice Voting Instructions Here

Fundraiser for North Carolina with Heather Cox Richardson as Keynote Speaker
All in for NC and friends are joining with the States Project to raise money for the States Project’s NC efforts. Democrats need to add only one more seat in the state legislature to break the Republican supermajority.  President Biden is prioritizing NC which he lost by less than 1.4% in 2020.  NC has a Supreme Court race and one of the most consequential Governor’s races in the country.  The Republican candidate for Governor is racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic, a Holocaust denier, and anti-women.  He wants a total abortion ban. He has said: “Once you make a baby, it’s not your body anymore – it’s y’all’s body.” DONATE and REGISTER HERE

Friday, June 28 – Saturday, June 29
