WOFA Getting Out the Vote at the METRO!
Looking for something to do on Election Day? Bring a friend, bring the family, and bring your kids who have the day off! We are hoping to have volunteers at every METRO stop with posters reminding people to VOTE! We will go into further details at our membership meeting. If this is something you are able to do, please sign up on this form! We are also looking for someone to spearhead this effort. Early Voting Poll Greeting – Arlington
If you think you can spare a few hours for a shift — or several shifts — the folks who have been staffing the four polling sites for the duration would really love some reinforcements!  Follow the links to find a shift that fits your schedule.  Our greatest needs are at Courthouse and Long Bridge; those are open all day, every day, for extended hours.  But there are also gaps at Madison and Walter Reed.

Canvass in Pennsylvania
From WofA Member, David Young: We need volunteers in New Hope PA (Upper Makefield) on Saturdays and Sundays until the election, as well as Monday and Tuesday of Election Day. (Our team members in Doylestown also need volunteers so you can join them instead if you prefer by signing up for “Doylestown” — though they are likely to be more crowded.) (Please note I will be staffing the canvass launching site on Saturdays and Sundays, so it is best to text or email please.) Hope you can be part of our winning team!!
To sign up to canvass in Pennsylvania please go to PADems.org. Then sign up with your name and click Volunteer. Then put these Filters on: Type (Canvasses), Near to (New Hope PA), and Date (any Saturday or Sunday or the final Monday or Election Day). It will take you to: Final Stretch Canvass in Upper Makefield. (This is us. The heart of Bucks County!!) Drop down to the dates you can canvass.  If you’re coming from out of town I recommend driving up in the morning and (in advance) signing up for noon canvassing. Thanks!!
