“In Virginia, organizers hope to round up 5,000 volunteers to “be in the room whenever a vote is cast” and preserve election integrity. The event co-hosted by the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee was part of a tour of the “Protect the Vote” campaign, which seeks to recruit a total of 100,000 volunteers in battleground states.”

National Voter Registration Day is the country’s largest single-day voter registration drive and will next take place on September 17, 2024! As many as 1 in 4 eligible Americans are not registered to vote. Each year, millions of Americans are walled off from the democratic process due to easily solvable issues such as missing a registration deadline or failing to update a registration after moving. We have sold 250 signs, with a profit of $456.00 which was enough to buy 8 rolls of postcard stamps @56.00 a roll, which sadly is a drop in the bucket because we have so many postcards that still need stamps!

Texting Training at Cindy Cunninghams – Falls Church
Hey friends! If you’re looking for a fun way to help the Harris-Walz ticket and all the down ballot races, I’m hosting a weekly texting training and volunteer event at my house every Thursday afternoon, from 4-6pm. I will provide the training, all you need is to bring a laptop or iPad. We will be using a special texting software that maintains your anonymity and that helps you through the conversations by providing most of the language. We’re texting voters in swing states as well as in Virginia. Join any Thursday or EVERY Thursday!
