Please join us at Green Valley Day — a celebration of the life and culture of this historic Arlington neighborhood. Talk to neighbors, explain the history and goals of the NAACP, recruit new members, and register and inform voters, all while enjoying great food, vendors, and entertainment. A fun volunteer gig! Take a two hour shift and make a difference!

National Women’s Political Caucus calling for VA HoD Candidates

National Women’s Political Caucus in conjunction with the Bay Area Coalition is hosting phonebanks for NWPC-VA endorsed candidates every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm. We have added a dialer which allows us to leave messages so calling is much more efficient without people feeling like they are on a runaway horse. Since our dialer leaves messages, a single person can effectively use it and make calls; it takes about 25 seconds to get a connection even if you are the only caller. Our Mobilize link is HERE
PFLAG Connects Monthly Meetings
Every month, our PFLAG Connects: Communities meet for safe, moderated, virtual meetings to seek guidance, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences. Our current community offerings gather people of Latino, Black/African American, AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) backgrounds, as well as military families, families with gender-diverse loved ones, dads, and grandparents!
