Adopt a Day Labor Corner (1 hour in early morning/crews of 2-4 people); Rights Canvassing for Businesses and Communities (1-2 gratifying hours in targeted areas on your own or with groups); Rapid Response to ICE Abductions – (Mostly verification, but may entail recording. Join Virginia State Senator Barbara Favola and special guest Flannery O’Rourke, Unemployment Insurance Program Director for the National Employment Law Project to discuss the government shutdown and other resources for federal employees impacted by reductions in force.
